a quintessential dc day

Jonathan’s sucky amount of studying = some Emily + Judebear time. It was finally not-freezing-degrees outside today and on top of that it was beautiful, so we decided to take a little walk and visit my favorite place: The Capitol. We made some phone calls, walked all around, and sniffed some very important political ground. All in all, not a bad puppy/mommy date. :)







Now for some Eastern Market bbq, Jonathan’s salsa, and some football with the Shugarts. This will be some much needed fuel for our upcoming week of hecticness…
