Welcome Home!
After numerous phone calls, real estate company’s computer systems being down since tuesday, awkward finagling with other apartment owners waiting to hear from us, it is finally decided: 222 Ninth St. NE Washington, DC—welcome the Mayos! :)
While this isn’t the one we were originally hoping for, honestly a lot of things are going to be better about it than number 1. We had been hoping for number 1 because it’s about 3 blocks closer to the metro and a little bit cheaper, but number 3 (our actual home to be) is much larger and has more personality-which we love. And honestly after all the crap we had to deal with with number 1’s offices (let’s just say we weren’t treated perfectly) we really feel that this is going to be the best choice for us in the long run. Thank you everyone for all the prayers—we are confident that this is where God wants us.
And now I can stop stressing about this and start getting excited for Paris on Sunday!!!
