so i’ve officially worked for Krooth and Altman LLC for one week. week one. woo. the first week at a new job is always an interesting experience. you’re running around trying to learn everything you’re supposed to know, learn the politics of the office, pick everything up as quick as possible so as not to get in the way, and give off a good impression. woo. All in all though, it’s been a really good first week! It’s made all the difference in the world that the people have been nice and so helpful in my transition in. My position as an admin floater gives me the great opportunity to meet and work with everyone. One of the paralegals, who was an admin floater only a few months ago, immediately took me under her wing and invited me to lunch with her within the first few days. She’s been awesome in helping to make this experience a good one for me :) Really and truly though, the office is intensely busy at times, but it keeps me on my toes and i’m ultimately enjoying it! First paycheck on friday!
oh and another plus? if you work for a relatively big law firm, more than likely they have a box or great seats for most professional sporting events in the city! guess who got Nationals v Diamondbacks tickets for friday nights game??!! ME! apparently right behind first base!
