While this weekend wasn’t all unicorns and rainbows, Jonathan and I still managed to get out and enjoy DC a little. After the dark hours of overtime (for me) and long hours of studying (for Jonathan), we decided to head out to We The Pizza for local pizza and beer. On Sunday we headed over to Georgetown, did some shopping, and finally made it to Baked and Wired for cupcakes. I got the:

Chocolate cake with cream cheese icing
and raspberry filling.

Today we made good on that promise to get out and go to some of the “dc things” we’ve been wanting to go do and went to the Hirshhorn Museum. I LOVE that all the Smithsonians are free.

 



There are really no words for this last picture. I guess he was just excited for the Ted’s Bulletin tomato soup and grilled cheese we decided to get next…
